UBC welcomes all college students in the Charlottesville area to have breakfast with us each Sunday monring. Coffee and bagels ready at 9:30 a.m., and if you wish to stay....
Bible STudy 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. and Worship at 11:00 a.m.

University Baptist Church is committed to a ministry to university students. From our "Welcome to UVA Students" reception and luncheon in September to our graduate recognition service in May, student ministry is a way of life at UBC. The academic year is filled with opportunities for study, spiritual growth, fellowship and fun. We offer Bible studies, and fellowships such as hiking, tubing and skiing trips, and movie nights. During final exam period each semester, we open up our Fellowship Hall to provide snacks, coffee, tea, and "A Quiet Place to Study" for students. It is our goal to provide an encouraging and supportive community of faith to students during their time at the University.
A Quiet Place to Study
Each semester, during exam week, University Baptist Church opens its doors to all students, both undergraduate and graduate, as “A Quiet Place to Study.”
Hot and cold drinks and light snacks provided. Wireless and plug-in available. Classrooms available for group study. Rides back to dorms available after dark, upon request.
Volunteers are needed to take two and a half hour shifts. Homemade snacks are appreciated. Please call the church office for more information, 293-5106, or email office@universitybaptist.org.
Sunday Morning Transportation for Students to UBC
While UBC is located on The Corner and readily accessible by walking, we do provide transportation to and from the church on Sunday mornings. You may call the church office and arrange for pick-up at 9:30 a.m. (for 9:45 Bible study) or 10:40 a.m. (for 11:00 worship and 12:00 Bible study) at the first-year dorms on McCormick Rd., at O-Hill, or at the corner of Stadium and Alderman (across from the bus stop).

Our bus can provide limited extra pick-up points on grounds depending on the need. Please contact the church office to request other pick-up locations.
Jubilate!
Jubilate is our church's auditioned choir for university students. This group performs on the grounds at the university, in our Sunday morning worship services, and in churches throughout Virginia. Each year during Spring break, Jubilate takes a major concert tour and in previous years has traveled to Boston, New York, St. Louis, Orlando, Indianapolis, and Colorado. Last year, Jubilate traveled to New Orleans and helped rehab houses damaged during Hurricane Katrina. For more information on Jubilate, click here.
