University Baptist Church offers English classes for international students, visiting scholars, etc.
Classes begin Sunday, August 23rd.
Sunday mornings, 9:45-10:40 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall.
Small groups emphasizing:
1. Reading/pronunciation using American history
2. Conversation, vocabulary and pronunciation.
All classes are free, but pre-registration is helpful for new students by contacting the Church Office at

Childcare provided.
Public Transportation information: UBC is on the Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) system routes, via the Trolley (free) and on the Route 7 CAT bus (free with a UVA identification card). Schedules, maps and fares can be found at www.charlottesville.org.
(Transportation may be provided by the church upon request. Requests must be made to the Church Office not later than 3 pm on Thursday before the Sunday for which transportation will be needed.)
