Who are we?
University Baptist Church is a vibrant community of faith, bringing together university students and area residents in worship, study, and service to our community. We seek to be an authentic community of Christians who love and care for each other as a family and openly welcome and include all people, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, or background. We believe that all people have important gifts to share in God’s family, working together as the hands and feet of our good and loving God. Sunday Morning Worship
We gather for worship each Sunday morning at 11:00, with Bible Study classes beginning at 9:45 for children and adults (see current class offerings). Our worship is traditional yet creative in style, drawing on the liturgy and practices of the wider Christian tradition while preserving our Baptist heritage. Greeters at each door are happy to help you find your way and answer any questions you may have. Read more about our worship.
Childcare
Childcare is provided for infants through preschoolers in our Nursery/Preschool Suite during Sunday Morning Bible Study and the worship service. The Preschool Suite is located on the ground level, and our trained team will be pleased to work with you to ensure the safety and well-being of your children during worship. For children in kindergarten through fifth grade, we offer Children’s Church during the worship hour. You may also ask any of our ushers for a children’s activity bag.
