We have a group of active retirees who gather each Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., to tackle the repair and upkeep projects around the church. Their motto is “Where Fellowship, Projects, and Coffee Converge.”
They take care of routine maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and batteries, safety inspections, small painting jobs, landscaping and preventive maintenance. They also do special projects as they are needed, like constructing the backdrop for our Vacation Bible School.
They even manage to find time to share a donut and a cup of coffee, or occasionally go out to breakfast or lunch together.
New volunteers of all skill levels, physical abilities, male or female, are always welcome to come and help.
